Made Mentors

Our Impact Mentoring programme provides focused, high-quality mentoring for young people who need consistent guidance, positive role models, and structured support to overcome challenges and reach their potential.

We work with young people at risk of disengagement, offending, exploitation, or emotional difficulties, offering personalised mentoring that supports behaviour, wellbeing, decision-making, and personal growth. Through regular sessions, we build trusted relationships that help young people improve self-confidence, stay on track with education, and take control of their future.

Impact Mentoring is outcomes-driven and trauma-informed — designed not only to respond to current needs but to create lasting change. We collaborate with schools, families, and professionals to ensure the right support is in place at the right time.

Our trauma-informed therapeutic mentoring is designed to support young people who have experienced emotional, social, or psychological trauma. We offer a safe, non-judgemental space where they can begin to heal, grow, and thrive.

Using a blend of empathy and evidence-based practice, our trained mentors build trusted relationships that empower young people to develop resilience, face challenges with confidence, and take positive steps forward in life.

Every journey is unique. That’s why we provide personalised guidance that meets each young person where they are — helping them rediscover their strengths and create a future filled with possibility.

Our School Wrap Around Support offers a holistic approach to student wellbeing, engagement, and progression — working in partnership with schools to meet the emotional, behavioural, and social needs of young people.

We provide a flexible package of in-school and community-based support, including mentoring, counselling, outreach, and family liaison, all tailored to the unique context of each setting. Whether it’s early intervention, support during transitions, or responding to more complex needs, our team offers consistent, trauma-informed care that strengthens the whole school environment.

With a strong focus on safeguarding, attendance, behaviour, and personal development, we act as a trusted bridge between students, families, and school staff — helping young people feel seen, supported, and ready to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

Our trauma-informed counselling service offers young people a safe, confidential space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences — either one-to-one or in a supportive group setting.

Using a person-centred approach, we recognise the individuality of each young person, honouring their story and creating a non-judgemental environment where they feel heard, valued, and understood.

Our skilled and compassionate counsellors specialise in working with trauma and emotional difficulty, helping young people build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and begin their journey towards healing.

Whether they are facing anxiety, low mood, loss, identity challenges, or the impact of adverse experiences, we provide tailored support rooted in evidence-based practices.

Our Lunch Time Support creates a safe, structured, and welcoming space for young people during one of the most socially complex parts of the school day.

We offer a calm alternative to the busy playground or canteen, giving students the chance to check in with a trusted adult, build positive peer relationships, and take part in light-touch wellbeing activities, guided conversations, or indoor games. For those who prefer physical activity, we also run structured sports sessions that promote teamwork, confidence, and emotional release.

This supportive environment helps to reduce isolation, prevent conflict, and improve emotional regulation — particularly for those who may struggle with unstructured time, anxiety, or social pressures. Our experienced staff create an inclusive atmosphere where every young person feels seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

Our Progression Mentoring programme is designed to support young people as they prepare for key transitions — from Year 10 and 11 through to post-16 pathways. Culturally competent and future-focused, we provide the guidance, encouragement, and practical tools needed to help each young person thrive during and beyond school.

Through personalised mentoring, we strengthen personal networks, build confidence, and expose young people to new opportunities in education, training, and employment. We help them make informed decisions, develop positive lifestyle habits, and see their full potential — no matter their starting point.

Our interactive Workshops and Assemblies are designed to educate, inspire, and empower young people on the issues that matter most. Delivered in schools, colleges, and community settings, our sessions spark honest conversations and equip students with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed choices.

We cover a range of important topics, including mental health, emotional wellbeing, identity, healthy relationships, resilience, career pathways — as well as serious youth issues such as knife crime, county lines, and exploitation.

Each session is age-appropriate, culturally aware, and tailored to the needs of the audience — whether it’s a whole-school assembly or a smaller group workshop. Our experienced facilitators use real-life scenarios, open dialogue, and interactive activities to engage young people and build trust.

Made in The Manor

Our Community Mentoring programme is rooted in connection, consistency, and care. We engage young people directly within their communities, offering positive role models, practical support, and a listening ear at the moments they need it most.

Whether it’s through informal street-based outreach, local hubs, or drop-in sessions, our mentors build trusted relationships that encourage safer choices, greater self-belief, and a sense of belonging.

We meet young people where they are — emotionally, socially, and geographically — creating a bridge between vulnerability and opportunity. By supporting personal growth, reducing risk factors, and promoting positive engagement, we help shape stronger futures from the ground up

Our trauma-informed mentoring programme offers compassionate, one-to-one support for young people facing significant challenges. Whether you’re a parent, professional, or someone supporting a young person, we’re here to provide the guidance and structure needed to help them move forward with confidence.

We work with at-risk youth to uncover their strengths, build resilience, and make more positive lifestyle choices. With a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, career guidance, and personal development, our mentors create safe, trusting relationships that encourage long-term growth.

Each mentoring journey is tailored to the individual, using evidence-based strategies and a holistic approach that enhances protective factors and supports life beyond the programme — whether that’s returning to education, entering training, or simply regaining a sense of direction.

By reframing challenges and inspiring progress, we help young people feel empowered, valued, and ready to shape a brighter future.

Our Drop-in Mentoring Days offer flexible, accessible support for young people — no appointment needed. These informal sessions create a safe and welcoming space where they can talk through challenges, explore goals, or simply take a breather from daily pressures.

Whether they’re dealing with stress, navigating personal issues, or seeking support around school and exam pressures, our trained mentors are there to listen, guide, and encourage. We offer practical strategies to manage exam anxiety, build confidence, and stay focused during revision periods.

Held in trusted community settings, each session is rooted in empathy, understanding, and real connection. We meet young people where they are, helping them feel supported and empowered to move forward.

Our Detached Youth Work programme takes support directly to where young people are — in parks, on streets, and in community spaces across the city. We engage with those who may not access traditional services, offering a consistent presence, genuine connection, and trusted guidance in their own environment.

With a trauma-informed approach and a strong focus on safeguarding, our experienced youth workers build meaningful relationships that help reduce risk, promote wellbeing, and encourage positive choices. We listen without judgement, respond to real-time needs, and create safe pathways into further support, education, or mentoring.

By being visible, approachable, and responsive, we help young people feel supported, respected, and motivated to make safer, more informed decisions — one conversation at a time.

Gym Club/multi-Sports

Our Gym Club offers a positive, structured space where young people can get active, build confidence, and look after their physical and mental wellbeing.

More than just fitness, our sessions combine exercise with mentoring, motivation, and mindset. Whether it’s strength training, cardio, boxing drills, or functional movement, we support young people to set goals, stay focused, and channel their energy in a healthy and productive way.

Led by experienced coaches and youth workers, Gym Club promotes discipline, resilience, and respect — helping participants grow stronger not only physically, but emotionally and socially too. It’s a place to release stress, build community, and discover what you’re capable of.

Box Chat is our unique boxing-based mentoring programme that blends physical activity with meaningful personal development. Delivered in schools and community settings, Box Chat supports young people to build confidence, emotional resilience, and key life skills — all within a safe and structured environment.

Each session combines boxing drills with guided discussions on real-life topics, including:

  • Self-awareness & emotional regulation

  • Developing a growth mindset

  • Breaking negative thought patterns

  • Understanding fear & problem-solving

  • Positive reinforcement & motivation

  • Self-forgiveness and moving forward

  • Social media awareness and its impact

Box Chat creates a space where young people can release energy, explore emotions, and develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges. It’s not just about throwing punches — it’s about building character, creating connection, and inspiring lasting change.

Our Multi-Sports programme provides young people with the opportunity to get active, stay engaged, and develop valuable life skills through a wide variety of sports and physical activities.

From football and basketball to dodgeball, athletics, and team challenges, our sessions are inclusive, high-energy, and designed to promote physical health, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Whether participants are seasoned athletes or just trying something new, there’s something for everyone.

Delivered in both school and community settings, our Multi-Sports sessions offer more than just physical benefits — they provide a constructive outlet for energy, reduce behavioural risks, and help young people improve communication, leadership, and goal-setting.

Made to play

Our Sensory Play Workshops offer a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children and young people can explore the world around them through hands-on, multi-sensory activities.

Designed to support emotional regulation, communication, and social development, these sessions use textures, sounds, movement, light, and creative materials to encourage self-expression and calm interaction. They are particularly beneficial for young people with additional needs, sensory sensitivities, or those who benefit from a non-verbal, therapeutic approach.

Led by experienced facilitators in schools and community settings, our workshops are inclusive, nurturing, and adaptable — helping participants build confidence, reduce anxiety, and improve focus and wellbeing.

Our Art Workshops provide young people with a safe and inspiring space to express themselves, explore their emotions, and build confidence through creativity.

Using a range of materials and techniques — from painting and drawing to collage, sculpture, and mixed media — our sessions are designed to support emotional wellbeing, self-discovery, and personal growth. No artistic experience is needed — just an open mind and a willingness to explore.

Delivered in schools and community settings, each workshop encourages participants to reflect on their thoughts and feelings, develop new skills, and find positive ways to process challenges. Whether working independently or as part of a group, young people are supported by experienced facilitators who create a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere.

Our One-to-One Therapeutic Play sessions provide a safe, supportive space where children can explore their emotions, build trust, and process difficult experiences through play.

Using a child-led, trauma-informed approach, our practitioners create meaningful opportunities for self-expression, emotional regulation, and healing — all without the pressure of words. Through creative and sensory play, storytelling, role-play, and symbolic exploration, children are gently supported to make sense of their feelings and experiences at their own pace.

Ideal for children who have experienced trauma, loss, anxiety, or behavioural challenges, these sessions promote resilience, attachment, and self-confidence in a way that feels natural and engaging for the child.

Our Art Therapy sessions provide a creative and therapeutic space for children and young people to explore emotions, process experiences, and support their mental wellbeing through artistic expression.

Led by qualified art therapists, sessions use drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and other creative methods to help individuals express what might be too difficult to put into words. Whether facing trauma, anxiety, grief, identity struggles, or emotional regulation difficulties, Art Therapy offers a safe and non-judgemental space to be seen, heard, and understood.

This evidence-based, person-centred approach helps to build self-awareness, resilience, and emotional insight — supporting participants to make sense of their experiences and move towards healing and growth.

Vision Made Real (VMR)

Future Founders is our flagship business and enterprise programme, designed to equip young people with the skills, mindset, and confidence to become tomorrow’s changemakers.

Through interactive workshops, real-world projects, and mentorship from experienced professionals, participants learn how to develop business ideas, build brands, manage money, and pitch with purpose. We blend creativity with strategy, helping young people turn their passions into practical ventures — whether it’s a product, service, or community initiative.

This dynamic programme supports personal development as much as business growth, encouraging leadership, teamwork, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Future Founders is ideal for students in secondary school, college, or those exploring post-16 pathways.

Nature Meets Nurture is an innovative summer programme designed to engage young people across Birmingham through a powerful blend of physical activity, mentoring, and team-building in natural, open-air environments.

Delivered over two to three days, the programme invites participants to take part in dynamic two-hour sessions filled with fun, challenge, and reflection. Each session is designed to promote physical wellbeing, personal development, and positive peer interaction.

Set in local parks and green spaces, Nature Meets Nurture makes the most of Birmingham’s natural surroundings to create a calm yet energising atmosphere where young people can reset, reconnect, and recharge.

By bringing together diverse groups in a safe, structured setting, we help young people build resilience, form meaningful relationships, and develop key life skills — all while reconnecting with the outdoors and themselves.

Training

Our School Pastoral Training programme equips school staff with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools needed to support the emotional, behavioural, and social needs of their students — especially those who may be at risk.

Through engaging workshops and practical case studies, we cover essential topics including trauma-informed approaches, managing challenging behaviour, building trust-based relationships, and promoting emotional regulation. A key focus is on safeguarding young people at risk of harm, exploitation, or disengagement, ensuring staff are confident in recognising early warning signs and responding appropriately.

The training also includes guidance on mental health awareness, effective signposting, and creating a whole-school culture that prioritises safety, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Tailored for pastoral leads, support staff, teachers, and senior leaders, our sessions are delivered with your school’s context in mind — ensuring learning is impactful, relevant, and immediately actionable.

Our Gang and County Line Awareness Workshops for practitioners are designed to strengthen your ability to identify, understand, and respond to the risks associated with gang affiliation, criminal exploitation, and county lines activity.

Delivered by experienced facilitators, these sessions provide in-depth insight into the latest trends, recruitment tactics, grooming methods, and early warning signs. You’ll explore real-life case studies, unpack media and cultural influences, and gain practical strategies to engage vulnerable young people and disrupt risky behaviours.

A key focus of the training is helping professionals safely divert and support young people away from gang involvement — building trust, resilience, and safer pathways forward. We also explore multi-agency collaboration, trauma-informed responses, and how to foster protective factors across school and community environments.

Whether you work in education, youth services, social care, or policing, this workshop equips you with the tools to intervene early, respond confidently, and contribute to a coordinated safeguarding approach.
